Trap Spelling Bee App

Welcome to Trap Spelling Bee. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Trap Spelling Bee mobile application (the "App"), our website at trapspellingbee.com, and any related services we provide (collectively, the "Service"). The Service is operated by Trap Spelling Bee Inc. ("we," "us," or "our").

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the App. We built the Trap Spelling Bee App for adults who appreciate culture-forward card games, and these Terms protect both you and us. Read them carefully.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 17 years old to download and use the Trap Spelling Bee App. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you are at least 17 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

Some games in the App involve drinking culture and adult content. For games marked "21+" (such as The Longest, drinking-mode versions of various games, and similar content), you must be at least 21 years old and legally permitted to consume alcohol in your jurisdiction. You agree to play these games responsibly and at your own risk.

If we discover that you don't meet these age requirements, we reserve the right to terminate your access without notice.

2. Your Account

You may use the App without creating an account, with certain features stored locally on your device. If you choose to create an account, you're responsible for:

Keeping your login credentials secure and confidential.
All activity that happens under your account.
Providing accurate, current, and complete information when registering.
Updating your information as needed to keep it accurate.

Notify us immediately at info@trapspellingbee.com if you believe your account has been compromised. We're not liable for losses from unauthorized account access if you failed to keep your credentials secure.

3. The Free Trap Spelling Bee Experience

When you download the App, you get free access to the 25 cards in the original Trap Spelling Bee deck (Volume 1), all standalone scoreboards for the games we offer, and Game Night Mode functionality. These free features are available to all users with no purchase required.

4. In-App Purchases

The App offers two types of paid content:

Individual game purchases: Each additional game (Trap Spelling Bee Vol. 2, Vol. 3, My Ghetto Report Card, Bussa Move, Sing-A-Songs, Trapcronym, and others) is available as a one-time purchase for $4.99 USD per game.
TSB ALL ACCESS subscription: An auto-renewing subscription that unlocks all current and future games in the App. Subscription pricing and billing terms are displayed at the point of purchase before you confirm.

Subscription Auto-Renewal Terms

THE FOLLOWING DISCLOSURES APPLY TO THE TSB ALL ACCESS AUTO-RENEWING SUBSCRIPTION:

Payment will be charged to your Apple ID or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase.
The subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period.
Your account will be charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the end of the current period at the same cost you originally subscribed at, unless price changes are disclosed in advance.
Subscriptions may be managed by the user, and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to your Apple ID or Google Play account settings after purchase.
No cancellation of the current subscription is allowed during the active subscription period. Refunds (if any) are handled by Apple or Google per their refund policies.
If a free trial is offered, any unused portion of the free trial period will be forfeited when you purchase a subscription.

How Purchases Are Processed

All in-app purchases on iOS are processed through Apple In-App Purchase. All in-app purchases on Android are processed through Google Play Billing. Purchase agreements are between you and Apple or Google, as applicable. We don't directly process or store payment card information for in-app purchases.

Restoring Purchases

If you uninstall the App and reinstall it, or get a new device, you can restore your previous purchases through the "Restore Purchases" option in the App. Purchases are tied to the Apple ID or Google account that originally made them.

5. Refunds

Because all purchases are processed by Apple or Google, refunds are handled by those platforms per their refund policies:

Apple App Store refunds: Request through reportaproblem.apple.com or your Apple ID account settings.
Google Play refunds: Request through your Google Play account or by contacting Google Play support.

We don't have the ability to issue refunds directly for in-app purchases. If you experience a technical issue with content you've purchased, contact us at info@trapspellingbee.com and we'll do our best to resolve it.

6. Acceptable Use

You agree to use the Service only for its intended purpose. You agree NOT to:

Use the Service in any way that violates any applicable law or regulation.
Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to derive the source code of the App.
Copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the App or its content.
Use the App to harass, abuse, threaten, or harm other people.
Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other users' accounts, our servers, or related systems.
Use bots, scripts, or other automated means to interact with the Service.
Attempt to circumvent in-app purchases or unlock paid content without payment.
Use the App for any commercial purpose without our express written permission (e.g., running the App as part of a paid bar trivia night without licensing it from us).

7. Content and Intellectual Property

All content in the Trap Spelling Bee App — including but not limited to game cards, card text, artwork, logos, audio, music, character voices (including "Riah" audio), images, video, and code — is the intellectual property of Trap Spelling Bee Inc. and is protected by U.S. and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

"Trap Spelling Bee," the TSB logo, and the names of all individual games (including Bussa Move, Hookah Guess It, Trapcronym, My Ghetto Report Card, Trap Riddlez, Let's Argue, Sing-A-Song, and others) are trademarks of Trap Spelling Bee Inc..

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App and its content solely for your personal, non-commercial entertainment. This license doesn't transfer ownership of anything to you.

8. Content Disclaimers

The Trap Spelling Bee App is an adult-oriented entertainment product. The content includes:

Mature language, including profanity and culturally specific slang.
References to and prompts involving alcohol consumption (drinking games).
Adult humor, sexually suggestive themes, and references to drug culture.
Content that reflects Black American urban culture, including references that may be unfamiliar or potentially offensive to people outside that cultural context.

By using the App, you acknowledge that you are an adult who has chosen to engage with this content. Trap Spelling Bee is meant to be fun, irreverent, and unapologetically rooted in the culture it celebrates. If this isn't for you, please don't download or use the App.

9. Drinking Game Disclaimer

IMPORTANT: SEVERAL GAMES IN THE APP ARE DRINKING GAMES. PLAY THEM RESPONSIBLY.

Excessive alcohol consumption can result in serious injury, illness, alcohol poisoning, addiction, and death. Trap Spelling Bee Inc. does not encourage excessive drinking and is not responsible for any consequences resulting from your participation in any drinking-based content in the App. You agree to:

Play drinking games only if you are at least 21 years old and legally permitted to consume alcohol in your jurisdiction.
Drink responsibly and know your limits.
Never drink and drive.
Take care of yourself and the people playing with you.
Modify the rules or substitute non-alcoholic alternatives if needed.

If you or someone you know has a problem with alcohol, help is available. In the U.S., call SAMHSA's National Helpline at 1-800-662-4357 (free, confidential, 24/7).

10. User-Generated Content

When you enter player names, team names, scores, and similar data into the App, that content is generally stored on your device. You retain ownership of any user-generated content you create. You grant us a limited license to use, store, and process this content solely to provide the Service to you.

You agree not to enter content that is illegal, infringing, harassing, defamatory, or otherwise objectionable. We reserve the right to remove or modify user-generated content that violates these Terms or applicable law.

11. Marketing Communications

By creating an account or opting in, you may receive marketing emails and push notifications about new games, updates, promotions, and Trap Spelling Bee brand news. You can opt out of marketing communications at any time:

For emails: click the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any marketing email, or email info@trapspellingbee.com.
For push notifications: disable in your device settings.

Even after you opt out of marketing, we may still send you transactional messages (purchase receipts, account confirmations, important service updates) as needed to operate the Service.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, with or without notice, if you violate these Terms, engage in fraudulent or illegal activity, or for any other reason at our sole discretion. Upon termination, your right to use the Service ends immediately. Any purchases you've made remain governed by Apple or Google's policies (depending on where you bought them).

You can stop using the App at any time. If you have an account, you can request deletion by emailing info@trapspellingbee.com.

13. Disclaimers

THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties, including but not limited to implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that:

The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
The results obtained from using the Service will be accurate or reliable.
Any defects in the Service will be corrected.

Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion of certain warranties, so some of these exclusions may not apply to you.

14. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, TRAP SPELLING BEE INC. AND ITS OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, AGENTS, AND PARTNERS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION LOSS OF PROFITS, DATA, USE, GOODWILL, OR OTHER INTANGIBLE LOSSES, RESULTING FROM YOUR USE OF OR INABILITY TO USE THE SERVICE.

Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service is limited to the amount you paid us (if any) in the 12 months before the claim arose, or $100 USD, whichever is greater.

Some jurisdictions don't allow the exclusion or limitation of certain damages, so some of these limitations may not apply to you.

15. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Trap Spelling Bee Inc. and its officers, employees, agents, and partners from any claims, losses, damages, liabilities, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to your use of the Service, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any rights of another person or entity.

16. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oklahoma, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Oklahoma County, Oklahoma. You consent to the personal jurisdiction of these courts.

If you live in a jurisdiction where mandatory consumer protection laws apply, those laws may give you additional rights that override portions of these Terms.

17. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make material changes, we'll notify you by updating the "Effective Date" at the top of these Terms and, where appropriate, by sending you an email or showing an in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes means you accept the updated Terms.

18. Apple-Specific Terms

If you're using the App on an iOS device, the following additional terms apply:

These Terms are between you and Trap Spelling Bee Inc., not between you and Apple. Apple is not responsible for the App or its content.
Apple has no obligation to provide maintenance or support for the App.
If the App fails to conform to any applicable warranty, you can notify Apple, and Apple will refund the purchase price (if any). Apple has no other warranty obligation for the App.
Apple is not responsible for addressing any claims you or any third party have related to the App or your possession or use of the App.
If a third party claims the App infringes their intellectual property rights, Trap Spelling Bee Inc. (not Apple) is solely responsible for investigating, defending, settling, and discharging the claim.
Apple and its subsidiaries are third-party beneficiaries of these Terms and may enforce them against you.

19. Google-Specific Terms

If you're using the App on an Android device through Google Play, your use of the App is also subject to Google Play's terms of service.

20. Miscellaneous

Entire Agreement: These Terms (together with our Privacy Policy) constitute the entire agreement between you and us regarding the Service.
Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
No Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision doesn't waive that right or provision.
Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign these Terms freely.
Notices: We may give you notice through the App, by email, or by posting on our website. You can contact us at the address or email below.
